Hi Robert...yes I have challenges with my hair light. Would love to invest in a boom type set up as now it is just on a light stand, high and back a bit. I use barn doors on an old honeywell light, maybe more of a snoot would help? What is d/g??

Darn...had to mark you down on the lighting for this otherwise lovely double-portrait due to the hairlight hitting the nose of the young lady on the right. It also casts a shadow from her hair onto her left (our right) cheek. Something seemed wrong at first glance and it took some moments before I spotted it. I've had the same thing happen in some of my setups too. The tones and textures are exquisite as well as the sepia treatment. Both of their eyes are the focal point as they should be and they really stand out here. Not offensively but perfectly. Would love to know what all you did in PS. My only suggestion would be to move the hairlight above and behind for the duo to eliminate sis's shadow on the other sis and to keep the shadow side of the nose out of the limelight. That softbox rocks and there seems to be just a perfect hint of d/g. Am I right?
