No competition this year?! With an image like THIS in your portfolio?!! I'm trying real hard to figure that one out but my brain keeps freezing up. Perhaps I'll understand someday when I'm older and wiser.

Oh, BTW, this looks quite sharp on my display with the intentional softening noticed and it's got LV written all over it.

You are truly one of the best if not the best wedding photographers I have seen on usefilm, and for that matter any wedding photographer photos that I have seen.

The image although the upload doesn't appear very clear on my screen I know the original has to look fantastic.

The setting with the historic inn and the wallpaper along with the old fashioned sofa is fantastic. The colors look great. The bride being as beautiful and the soft focus is truly a treasured moment.

Seems odd that the wedding took place on a Thursday. Where I live in California weddings always occur on the weekend (Saturday).

I always look forward to seeing your wedding photos.

Thanks Matt! Advice...wouldn't know where to start! This image was taken in a very dark room in a historic Inn. The ceilings were dark green and I bounced my flash off of them and it seemed to work!! A little desaturation of colours, some gaussian and diffuse glow to help soften things a bit.

Louise, you have the most amazing wedding photos. the exposure, composition, and mood they create are astonishing. Any advice you have to a newcomer to wedding photography would be appreciated!

Fantastic shot, pose and lighting. The soft focus works well...
