Taken at Thruxton racing circuit, in UK. Amateur event, selected this bike as most colourful and interesting. First attempt at panning fast object side on. First attempt at pushing Provia 2 stops, very impressed with provia performance. I should mention that the weather was unbelievably bad - very heavy rain, and the race was called off about 15 minutes later.
Hi Ray, Thank you for taking the time to comment! I agree the image is I think a bit muddy in exposure terms. Shame really as I like the rest and for an early attempt at panning I was pleased with my focus. We live and learn! Chris
Hi Chris, considering all the limitations you had to work through (bad light, slow lens etc...), I think you've done a nice job! Your choice of film was good. Not many films can out-perform Provia 400F, for this type of photography...
