About	This is my first official B/W photo. It turned out quite well. One of the hardest things to get (for me...being a colorful person) is the contrast. I usually looks for color contrast, but here I was able to capture the light-dark contrast, so when I made it B/W it looked great, so I kept it. But you can be the judge on how good it looks.

Brandon, I like it. I am a color person too and just submitted my own duck shot for this year, I can see the colour! I believe you mean PS to mean Photoshop? If so, check out the RGB Channels to see what it would be like applying those sort of filters to the piece and see how the contrast change for B & W. I am still working on my own B & W conversions, but it is interesting the effects you can get.
