Hope you never have to transfer to NYC, Carol. Here's it's a one hour drive in stop and go traffic to get from one part of the City to get to another. But it does have certain advantages. Like by the time you get to the office, you're ready to kill.
BTW, what a beautiful, calming scene.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Beautiful photo. the colors and composition are indeed calming. The beautiful Cloud could be cropped for an interesting photo in itself. However, The way you present the photo, and the way you explain you emotions, it is almost like you are leaving the storm cloud behind as you head toward home.

Love the light in this Carol. For the time of day the colour is perfect.
A 2 hour commute! Used to have a 3 hour in LA, but that was mainly slow deadly city driving, countryside like this is more relaxing.:)

this composition could use a little more color saturation. i see you warmed it up using PS.. highlight of this picture is the clouds. Perhaps you should look up "T Glow" he uses Sony DSC-717 and ask him about tips as how he gets his colors so rich and superfluous.
