These are not so easily encountered these days, and yet the fact that you used a D100 must mean it's a recent photo. It certainly conveys the power of a steam locomotive. I also like the tonal gradation from dark to light.

Wonderful dramatic capture of power and thrust of an age old relic. Vintage things always evoke strong emotions. well done.
I have one of these in my stuff. If you like take a look. But that is not as good as yours and captured for diffrent reason.

Wounderful BW capture, one good thing with steam lokomotives is that you really can see the power and motion blowing up into the air.
