John, what were you going for in this image? Something needs to be focused on. If it is the can, try to single it out, make it the subject, give it special attention. I would crop the bottom off a little, or drop the view down for some more glass. Also use a polarizer to tune the reflections out of the glass for improvement in color and clarity. And last, the only time I shoot without a tripod is when it is impossible to shoot with it! Good luck with your next shot!
