Wonderful shot. Very powerful story behind it too, I'm sure if we knew.. I plan on doing a homeless series here in town. For a small town, we have a very large homeless population. I'll study yours, to help with mine. Thanks also for the comments. All critiques, good , bad or otherwise, greatly appreciated. Love your work!

Your photos are excellent, I had a tough time deciding which to critique and comment about. I like the fact you use TRI X film, and a nice camera, though I am not real familiar w/ it. But I know the name is cxlassic. All your photos are nice.

Great shot! It seems you really feel the dramatic attraction of these tired, hunchbacked women: there is a baudelairian shade in you. Maybe.

Once again, you've pulled it all together and made a wonderful composition. I don't know how you do it. You must be a champion lurker ;)

Tones here are great, lines all lead perfectly back to her, and that enormous weight she carries -- and yet I do not think that weight will stop her.

Terrific street shot, John! I can feel the weight of the world on the woman's shoulders.

Heartbreaking. Simply stunning photojournalism. Also love the vignetting around the edges -- while some might find it "less than perfect" I believe it adds to the power of the shot and draws the eyes immediately into your subject. Terrific work, John.
