The composition does have originality and looks distinctively "modern", Joy. Good bright colors and certainly a good sense of summer and sunlight.
But the tiny size of the image makes it difficult to say more about it. One thing I could say is that the timing was not as good. It could help to take the image when that guy doesn't stand behind the chair, for a better enhancement of your subject.
