Excellent portrait... the road is a great area to put a person, the emptiness of its texture helps to "bring" the lady to the watcher as the... "center of the world" Be well my friend.

nice capture Liz, love the B&W processing, it would be perfect if she was a fraction more to the right, approx where the LH side of the tree is (this would put her face on the "rule of 1/3rds line" )

You've had quite a good response to this one, not hard to see why. The lighting and composition are well complemented by the work you've done to the edges. A nicely balanced piece of art mrs.

Very nice capture. Her thoughtful looking combined with the tones are telling a story for me. maybe even her sitting on the street is trying to tell the viewer, it is a long and stoney (sometimes even dirty) to get along in life. Well never the less what I see in this image, it is very good! Best wishes, Sascha

nice .. I like the melancholy mood.. only thing I would change is the color in the frame.. frame itself is good, just get rid of the colors. cheers ! Avi

Such a captivating and natural looking portrait. I always enjoy that petulant look teens are capable of providing, it gets less sincere as we get older. The grain(iness suits the image very well. Regards, Gary
