I like the darkness of this picture, and almost a light at the end of the tunnel theme with the predominent light in the back, behind everything.

mary, that is a good idea...i think i will go back and try that again next time i have a roll of fp4+ handy (all i have is pan f+...totally different tones)

joel, i usually actually prefer black and white. it's a personal preference of mine and i actually think colors are too distracting or simply too ugly sometimes. in this case, colors would ruin the mood and the background would be too distracting. thanks for the compliment:)

Nothing wrong with dark - I like it very much - it has a rainy day feel to it.

The curves and repetition of the curves appeal to me a great deal - this is not necessarily a mandate - just a question what would it look like if we allowed the inside edge of the largest curve (the one that disappears on the left-hand of the frame) be revealed but not the outside edge?
