Thanks so much for all your nice comments Phil, good to hear from you again as well.
My absence on this site was related to my travels. Last winter we spent considerable time in Texas. When we returned, I posted a series of shots, primarily birds, from that trip. Then this spring we took the trip to Scotland and have been posting numerous shots from that tour. During the time between those trips I didn't do a lot of shooting thus my absence on the site.
I agree with your wife, Edinburgh is an amazing city. I could have spent the whole trip there. Hope you enjoy my Scotland shots. Looking forward to your comments.

Thank God, you are posting again! Not to seem morbid, I was hoping the surfer was not the last of my friend, Joe Brown.
I have missed you, and am enjoying what you have brought back! My wife loves Edinburgh....I love tropics, what ever......good to see ya again.

Thanks very much biljana. I'm sure you would love Scotland, great scenery, very interesting historic places to visit, friendly people and very good food. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Hi Riny, It is the home of the One O'Clock Gun, and a lot more. We thoroughly enjoyed our tourer of the castle. Here is a shot showing the One O'Clock Gun in the middle right.
