If you follow this street you come to the lake in some minutes. I hope again that the areas in shadows do show enough details for being a bit interesting. Any comments would be very welcome.
Could you please mark-up the areas on the street that are overexposed, and attach the marked-up image, Gustavo? This would help me a lot!
A good idea about light and shadow for more plasticity! I'll retry that on some other time of the day.
Still the world of city canyons is also a world of low light many times, that deserves to be captured and studied thoroughly. The image, as it is now, is not flat at all. (There is a huge amount of subtle hints for depth and also plasticity.) What it is not, is dramatic, or of "big impact" in the spectacular sense.
As the time passes by the simple lyrics of somebody like Springsteen, or even more Gallagher, reveal their strong content quite contrary to the empty phantasms of any "bombastic" band. And then I start thinking about that in photographic terminology. Which of course way doesn't mean that this image catches the sound atmosphere of "Philby" so easily. I'll have to work for non-stop for years in order to be able some day to do that. ;-)
It is only that even on times of the day with more powerful lights and shadows I wouldn't go for a spectacular thing. This is what I think of me and "my photography" anyway. Perhaps this is also my own kind of reaction against all self-demonstrating bombastic spectacularity that comes to this forum each and everyday. And also perhaps I am completely wrong. :-D
La composición excelente, por ahí falta un poco de luz y sombras, (la foto es muy plana) y hay un poco de sobre exposición en el fondo de la calle. Un abrazo!
