Thanks, Amin. The backlight was from an Alien Bee 400 strobe behind her (I had to clone out the power cord and tripod).
I'm curious - how would you crop this shot? Tighter? Wider?

Thanks, Pat. That's a warm fuzzy when that's validated, cause I'm seein' it too. I don't know how much "better" I'll get, but it just keeps improving thus far.
I'm having a blast, too.
Phil Cassell and I are going to command a 3-story condo in Houston next weekend, with a makeup artist willing to chill with her airbrush at the pad all weekend with us. Dunno, 10 or 12 models joining us.

I like this one better of the two. Would have cropped off the bottom a bit more, left side crop too. IMHO background really needs to be blown out with a f/1.8 or 1.4. Would look really cool if it was SO blurry you could hardly tell what it is (the background) Pretty good all in all, give it a 6......

haha poor paul wants to shoot all nudes! could be a sexy shot of she had boobs to show off, but that's not in your control of course! Looks like tough lighting, but you just pulled it off.

Nice pose and model. Love her shirt. I know the bra off adds to the sensuality but I actually think a white bra would have really enhanced this. The shirt is excellent. I just purchased a Canon EOS 20D and look forward to upgrading.
