nice dear and happy with first snow there!
Here only rain and rain and wind at about 10degrees C.
This week slowly going to colder weather and hopefully dry and sunny too.

If there were only some category of images for "natural camouflage", Dave, this would be one of the best ones in that category. I see warm borwn tones and in those tones an animal appears that doesn't even seem to try to camouflage. No, it *is* naturally camouflaged and it doesn't need to even try to get that right, because it *does* it right without any effort!
The details and the lighting on the deer are very very well done. It looks much like as if put under the special spotlight of a presentation but without destroying its similarity to its surroundings. And also the timing was very well chosen for a good glimpse of the character of the animal.
One of the shots that concentrate on matters of real wild life rather than some kind of beautification of it, that simply doesn't exist out there.
Great straight work! Just keep it up, even if your fingers freeze in that cold!
