aLi. Thanks for your comments. On this shot, i manually focused it. This lens is 30 years old and dosnt auto focus. With the 70-300, i sometimes manually focus but if i use AF, i hit button a few times and make sure at least one of the senser lights comes up on the C Gul. Or ill use spot focus. C AF is good. Good thing about digital is it dosnt matter if you get it wrong. Just delete and do it again.:) Thanks again aLi. Cheers Keith

Greaat Job Keith .. I love this one.. I have tried to take photos like this many many times.. Using autofocus + AI Servo ... But non of mine are nowhere near this photo of yours.. wonderful work .. Great sharpness and details + wonderful blurred background .. 7+++

30 yr old lens or 50 yr old eyes? Looks damned good to me. Colours are amazingly clear on the gull against the blurred background.Well done!;)

Thankyou Biljana. Used my 30 year old manual zoom. Manual focus but had it on spot focus and when beep goes and light flashs, pushed button. Must use it more often. Big hug to you as well. Keith
