You were lucky to be there,Finn,and you also had the skill to compose the scene nicely.The light is perfect,but the dark sky above the rainbow appears pixelated om my screen and it's a little disturbing.I think that if you cropped about 60pixels from the right side of the image then the effect might be stronger,but I'm not sure about it.. I've never seen a rainbow so low to the horizon. The rest of the sky does look rather bland though. The roller could be a good close up subject with interesting details and colours in this good light.

The photo has a very evocative light and nice colors but there is something that disturbs me in the edges, although I can't quite point it out. I don't know if they are too sharpened or something ... it looks to me as if the tree on the right and the roll were pasted into the picture. I know they were not, but I am writing this to try to explain myself. This comment notwithstanding, I like the picture a lot !

This is a splendid picture (got some like this myself last week) .. haven't yet got a complete rainbow before my camera yet .. you took this one in perfection, and put it into a nice composition with sharpness allover !!! Love it .. Regards, Peter
