Joe: The Better Beamer device extends the range of the flash by a stop or two. It mostly helps it to recycle quickly. This is a full-frame capture as the birds are less than ten feet away on our deck so the flash works well even without the extender device. Thanks for your kind remarks on this pretty boy.
Beautiful goldfinch, excellent capture, very sharp, beautiful colours, the flash does an excellent job of lighting these guys, I've got to try that if I get close enough. :))) Regards, Joe
