Hi dear Michele,
Great landscape ! I love the perspective you chose. The composition is wonderful, with the water in the front and the 2 groups of trees in the middle against the bush-background on the hills. Very moody shot with a nice peaceful atmosphere. Compliments !

Thank YOU so much John - You give me great comments and I value them-- it was around 1pm in the afternoon- but accross the street very close is the ocean --so there is either fog or wind :) It was a bit foggy.

Oh jessie that would be odd to view when you are not used to it--- it can be quite a treasure hunt as well- when the tides bring in a bunch of stuff- bottles, etc. mostly tree's , but all kinds of things, and then take them away again...

Very good view even it could be something different at the backlight... I think a UV filter needed here as the lighting angle makes a 'fog' result at the back dark area of trees. The foreground is really very good for these very difficult lighting conditions. Anyway, I don't know the time you took the shot, it could be real fog (very morning time) Very good!

the detritus left by tides is amazing to me (bc we don't have tides in lake MI)...i love seeing it! beautiful area you live in!

Hi Nicole-- Yes this is the HOT fishing place in town--- during Salmon season the fish are literally jumping at 50 lbs. average size --NOT kidding. Also Sturgeon is really good and plentiful here.... I know there is trout but I have gotten spoiled by the really BIG fish :)) altho I do love trout too....
We are not having rain for 5 days ( Yippee) or so we hope--- It is our frist time in April with no rain BUT hey -- this is Oregon and the coast --- so it's normal for here to be this way more than not :(

Hi Joe, I did put it up and noticed I needed to crop the sky a hair... Just every so slight as I had left a part of a tree at the top of the sky !!!!! I did recieve your kind comment and even tried to respond this morning - but thankfully that flawed image had been deleted :))
