Very good framing Michele,you don`t need to shoot at such a small F stop.The small f stop is mostly for macro when the extra dof is needed,the downside is loss of image quality.Not knocking you just a tip.

Good composition, Michele and a very pleasing scene. When shooting into the sun like this sometimes it pays to bracket your exposures on either side of what the auto exposure calls for to see what dramatic effects you might achieve or to compensate for how the bright points of light might fool the meter reading. This one is properly exposed but I would have liked to see slightly darker and deeper colors. Well done, though as this is a tough shot to get with this kind of lighting.

Well come on over here Annemtte and jump right in -You'd love it !:) One day you really might consider a trip to Oregon just for this reason of being soo surrounded by water--
My house is surrounded on each side by a major river , and several large creeks-- this pretty Big lake, and the Pacific Ocean !!!
