This is a terrific landscape, Michele.
I like the yellow and green grass in the forground - tells the story of how transitional a time September is.
The row of trees accross the water create a sense of depth, which is added to by the treed hills in the background.
All that backdropped by a crystal clear blue sky - a lovely image indeed. Nicely done.

Of course, You're welcome. Not silly at all Michele . . . and it's been great seeing your skills grow so quickly. I DO take some pride in seeing others become better and better even if it's only a part of my help allowing the growth. It's so much easier with some (like yourself) who aren't so very defensive and resistant to any criticism of their work . . . though I understand defensiveness . . . when a person works long and hard to get a perfect image and some Yay-hoo says . . . "Eh, I don't like 'this' (fill in the 'this')" I can see the issues that might arise. People who already know it all just cannot learn more. Those willing to admit they have more to learn will learn it faster. (Reminds me of a teenager who still lives at my house)! LoL! I think you've reached a point now (or will soon) when improvement will require better equipment. Until then . . . keep shooting with what you have . . . learning . . . and improving. :)

Thank You so very much for teaching me everything I know about photography ! I accept this award with great honor and pride that in 7 months 'The King of Cool' has stuck by me very hard at times , repeating over and over again how I must have a level horizon!

I am now afraid to post any image with a slip up in these things I have finally learned !!
