City - El Calafate State - SANTA CRUZ Country - Argentina
About
Once we landed by jet in El Calafate part of Southern Patagonia, the first place we were destined to check out was the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. This is one of the few glaciers that has such easy tourist access and really allows the average individual of non hiking strength to get a chance to see a very active glacier at work. While we sat there from various vantage points, the constant movement of this crushed and malleable ice train, constantly dropped huge chunks of Ice into the Lake with terrific sounding cracks and groans. It exciting to see something so hugely massive so active.
As a painter I am particularly keen on images with complimentary colors...they just add that extra bit of zing. Argentina is full of this type of imagery. From what i can see by your images South Africa has similar warm and cool color scenarios.
