About	This being Easter weekend I thought it would be appropriate to post some images of Saint Joseph's Oratory. This imposing Italian Renaissance Basilica is situated high on the north west side of Mont Royal in Montreal. Contruction on this Basilica began in 1924. It was inaugurated in 1955. It is a reinforced concrete structure clad with Canadian granite.

Thanks Jacques, due to the bright sun it is fairly contrasty. On my monitor is I see the front of the statue and the basilica almost over exposed where as areas not in the direct sunlight are a bit dark.
