Nice composition Joe--- beautiful mallard, heading for the debris.... his mate must want him to check it out first ! I like the small waves in the right foreground--probably made by the duck .... and it sure does look COLD too...You've captured that mood well ..haaa!! As usual nice clarity and DOF.....

Thanks very much Ray, the flotsam occurs every year when the ice goes out. The wind move the ice around the lake and piles it up on the shore. The takes on some debris which ends up in the water. It clears up quickly.
