Many hours spent with someone enjoying time on the water, may be fishing or taking the small chldren for a picnic... Romance, and now, never to be used again, it's sad... It will slowly just rot away, and slip into the bottom on which it now sits...:(

it's not forgotten as long as people like you are living in this universe and breath...
I know why you called that forgotten, you are right... it's forgotten for many of other people,and it's a very symbolic example of what's happening to aged people and those who has been forgotten by their grown up kids...
