Very nice composition of grey sky and a nice silhouette, I like when an object viewed as a shadow, full black texture, it gives a more artistique result.

Sorry for the delay in answering Michele, my uncle in Australia passed away so I haven’t felt much like doing anything on the computer for a few days.
I’m glad to hear that you like my style, it was only after I started putting my work on-line that I realized my fondness for strong colours was quite consistent and this was indeed confirmed to me when I was called ‘The Queen of Colour’ by another member. Thank YOU Meg !!! After I read that your 'Letting Off Steam' image was so different from your norm...I quickly went to check out your norm !!! To my surprise I recognized yesterdays posting of 'One for the Boys' as I had also been drawn to that image for it's clever-ness and color !

I also love palms and admire the way they survive the elements so well.
I agree with Doyle about not centering the image but never forget that as long as you know the rules,...it’s OK to break them sometimes! :)

I like this but maybe try an off-centered composition next time? Or at least that's what Doyle would say. haha j/k
