This is up the Siletz river John..... and it is a very popular fishing camp, especially at Salmon season... Come on over I will show you where it is...It is very quiet until the salmon start jumping :)) At this time I only had my cannon camera ... just a point and shoot :((
I did not have this nice Nikon DSLR that I am learning STILL to use properly -lol!!!!

It's a great place...hope I could be there, it looks so peacefull and calm...oh my, the water is really a clear mirror, where are the waves??? :-D ahhhh....now I want to be at a place like that mooooore!
About the image it is pretty good and perchaps onle one stop faster exposure or one stop smaller apperture needed just to have less overexposed white areas.

Hey Paul , I wish you could send this to me in a form where I could enlarge it... cause the thumbnail is kinda hard to tell BUT I can see some darker, richer color which I do like... I am flattered if you want to play with my pictures... ! Maybe you could send it to me at my home address ? Regardless... hey I've a zillion images you might have fun playing with....
Or ... not, lol ! I just came in from another 10 miles hike UP Cascade Head and took about 80 pictures I think... My 'moss' tree, had broken !!!!! The top branches were dead I guess... Anyway play away .....
Your brother is probably a very nice person but when he re-arranges every single shot sometimes I get mad for a moment . He appears to be a good photographer BUT I don't care for his glamour shots...and he obviously is just flirting ... he said so himself... that's why I am NOT on dating sites..so he hit me the wrong way but I will try to be more tolerant and understanding if he's your buddy...
Is he ? I did like his 'self -portrait' posted today ....
Anyway have fun glad you're interested in life again ....(?) or Photography anyway !!

I did not think so.......:)
I took it and cropped what I thought was not needed to telling a story and anything else that might be distracting to the subject. This is what I came up with. This and just a couple auto
runs....Color and levels.....:)

Thank You very much Robert ! I am so happy You like this ... It is a photographer's parasise here... It's tropical, and green, mountains, rivers, creeks, ocean, all within a 5 mile radius . I wish it had warmer weather on the coast here, but I guess that part is a personal problem for me...it doesn't bother most others.

This is beautiful with the lovely greens and reflections Michele. I think a sharper focus on that first boat might have helped nail this shot down better . . . but the image is very scenic and probably more pleasant than an image of the fish being cleaned! :P

Ohhh this is the paradise, it seems a very peaceful
place with gorgeous vegetation. Absolutely nice
atmosphere, I bet everyone have a rest here, after
go to work full of energy. Very nice reflections and
lovely colours, the greens are too rank. Excellent
work by you, my friend! Great job!
