I found mountains like Victoria here to be a lot more interesting than big walls. I have lots of memories of the Rockies, rejuvinated by photos like this. That inspirational feel of cold air, warm breeze, exposure, and dramatic views are nicely shown here. I don't climb much any more, mainly because of domestic responsibilities. But I really envy you guys, who seem to live the dream.

Yes this was from just a few weeks ago as i was driving back to the coast. But i will be back in Calgary again in a week. Where did you go climbing? do any walls? In Squamish maybe or the Bugs? I grew up climbing on Yamnuska before heading to Yosemite. Limestone was much more freaky in many was though. I am happy that my kids are not climbing as well...well not yet at any rate...lol

Great lighting, with mysterious cloud as well. I presume, a winter photo?

An extreme weather scene of harshness and beauty, the power of nature, superbly displayed. :)
