Joe, nicely composed.. I like the way the timbers in the foregoround are angled, and running roughly parallel to the opposing shorelines, creating an almost diamond-like shape to the water area. The intense colors of the sky reflected in the water is very appealing. Though, I think I understand Doyle's comment, that adding a little more color saturation to the sky itself might add a nice backdrop to the entire image.
Very nicely done. Congrats.

Fantastic scenery with beautiful lighting, rusty leaf color and clean snow. I love the golden cloud reflections in the calm water, and the story of the timbers from old mill :) I always appreciate when people write some info, it makes a difference in the way we view and understand an image.

Hi Joe,
Here I like the difference between the cold colours in the foreground and the warm colours in the background. Looks like you took a photo of the moment that winter arives and autumn leaves:)
