Thanks much, Jinggoy.... as you can see, I was in your neck of the woods... for 2 weeks... but only had about a day and a half of photography. Would have liked to have found your haunts and shot some birds. But that didn't happen.

Shirley, if you knew what I went through for this photo, you'd laugh, not just smile. I chased this cop all across the city at 10-15 MPH over the limit trying to get the shot. It's not usually a good idea speeding behind him. About 10 blocks after this shot (I took many while trying to drive and compose the picture), he turned off and I went on into the sunset.
I continued on, trying to find what I was looking for. About a mile later, I stopped at a traffic signal and was going to make a U-turn. Lo and behold, he appears beside me in the straight lane. I figured it wasn't illegal to do a U-turn but not living in CA, I didn't know.
So off I go and as I make my turn, he turns on his lights and siren and turns behind me. I figure I'm done for and pull over... but he goes flying by me on his way to a call.... afforded me another couple of shots, though. His partner looks like a real veteran, with all the gray he had... here's another point and shoot pic as he blew by me...

Ok Dave YOU are Really good ..... I know this and this is why I view your images so much...
I really like them. Plus You tell what they are about .
I totally understand that You are not interested in my learning stages ... BUT maybe when I get better . .... well hopefully you would be, as we both seem to like about the same things.
