Beautiful landscape, Tim, Congrats! I like the warm colors of the rocks. The hardiness of plants always amazes me...growing out of a rock here.

Yes the D80 is smaller then the D70 somewhat but bigger then the D50.

Tim just another thing : Is the D50 a bit bigger than the D50 ? I love the grip of the D70s, Im thinking abt buying the Battery grip with the D80/

Hi My Friend....The D80 is awesome and a lot lighter. The battery lasts longer as well. I find that many of the features of the D80 are excellent. Can't think of a reason to pay more for the D200 other then it is bigger,is a bit more air tight and and has a metal body....But really the D70/ D80 have a plastic body and i have really beat my D70 up. It doesn't look pretty, yet it has never failed. This including doing some rock climbing with the D70 and slipping on a wet spot and falling down slamming the D70 on a big boulder. It didn't even blink, just scratched a bit with some dirt rubbed in. The plastic body passes the Timmy test...ha-ha. Another point is that the menu and general configuration of the D80 is much more similar to your D50...SOooo at this point i have been super happy with the D80 the images coming out of it are just great.

I knw it , that a BIP was coming. Im thinking about my second DSLR body. D200 is way out of my budget. U use the D80, shall I go for the D80 ?
