You just made my dear piano become even more special to me. :)
I am sure you can see how much I LOVE my piano.
It plays really well too :)
I have been shooting with Colin's borrowed digital camera lately where I don't worry about colour corrections, as I shoot without flash under warm lights. I could never use the new darned fandangled thang for portraits! LOL! :)
Nor for daylight shots of "stuff"...

I have not seen the movie yet but have checked on it and from what I read, it already impresses and intrigues me!:) Why Scarlett Johanson??? Do you mean the actress Scarlett Johansson ??? I find her as acting in the Le Prestige...
Also I am fond of Michael Caines's acting abilities, not to menton David Bowie! :).
Your comments always graciously received my friend. And now I am keen to view Le Prestige! :)

I don't play as "well" as I used to.. so perhaps you wouldn't like to hear me play.. lol.. :)
I was knocked out that when I was looking for a new piano or piona, I only liked the tone and action on this one which happened to be name Orpheus! Truly, it was not my intention to purchase if for that reason. Just an added bonus! :)

Thank you so much.
The tones and agedness here are exactly as they are in Life. No special effects. The tungesten lighting is very warmg giving the "sepia" look... In fact, the instrument IS very old .. full iron frame though.. and still works like a charm... lol... even though it has had a very long rough Life. :)

Thank you so much Aniko- a wonderful sight for me! I have never seen one like this- beautiful. And to know it has a history and was once a pianola! And linked with this character in Greek mythology makes it even better! You must be so attached to it. A beautifully warm image- thanks so much Aniko.

I LOVE my piano... The BEST of several I have "owned" over all my years on earth....
I started piano age 5....classical training of course... University level with many honours by age 11... not bragging... intention of my reply comment to your's has to do with your words... "classic" and "older" :) And yes, I am dedicated to ALL art!!! :) Pity artists often starve... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
