The high key is nice and the colour version is great too! I experimented with Yoshiyuki's suggestion, (at least what I think he had in mind,) by upping the key and contrast sharpening. It may be six of one and a dozen of the other.

I love the white on white Dear Shirley!!!
It is what we call a certain embroidery style in Hungary. I have many white embroidered white lacy doilies and such-like. This tender image reminds me of my homeland.
Other than that, (my being sentimental), it is an excellent creative and incredibely delicate image, composed by an extremely imaginative heart, soul, mind...
You are wonderful Shirley!

Superb creation, Shirley! And very difficult choice of subject, white on white!I would have liked some more accent either in the lace or in the flower, it would have given the shot more character.
