It is a really great capture Michele!
I love the bands of colour! The blues in the sky, the blackish sea flowing to shore as white... truly breath-taking!
Also the textures in the cloudy sky and the white waves breaking on the shore seem to "match" in a unique way and frame the practically flat black sea.
I agree, it's amazing! :)

The dark and blue colours are very nice mix together,

Hi Pradnya,
It was very deep dark muddy brown from all the storms but with the dark thunder cloud above and the blue space for sun-light to reflect the dark cloud it did look like this ... different I know !

Hi Jason,
Thank You for your thoughtful comments ! This is the 'calm' between 2 storms therefore the smaller waves . We'd had 10 days of heavy rains, muddy ocean, high waves ( 22ft. ) and yesterday was a bit of a break. Today is another storm in-comming and threatening more flooding , high winds 60 + m/p/hr etc...

This is an interesting image, Michele. The darker colours, especially in the sea, seem to indicate somewhat foul weather, yet the waves are not very big, indicating relative calm. The clouds appear to be quite low, adding to the drama of this seascape.
