About I am not sure what this is growing on this piece of bark barely attatched to a dead tree... At first I thought it was a mushroom and poked it with a stick but it was pretty tough... everything in the Cascade Head area grows...and is alive ... but I don't know what all of it is... so sorry . If anyone has any ideas of what grows like this I would appreciate especially your help...but always appreciate any and all commments... and Your Time...

Ok ... point made Jason ...BUT it was definitely attatched to the dead tree and a I would've bet it was a large mushroom as there are so many here... I took a lot of time circleing it . then moving in for the poke... ( ha) and at least I used a stick !
I had to find out Jason... it was wierd have you ever seen this kind of thing before ? I've been here for over 15 yrs. and not seen it ...

Michele - you should be careful when you start poking strange things - one of them might poke you right back! haha. Jason.
