Thanks for telling me that jessie about the fuzzy shore line . i had one other person mention it, and i kind of think i posted the wrong image... the one that didn't get sharpened or got un-sharpened, or something wrong with it ! i'm gonna need to fix this now it's bugging me !!!

Interesting choice to shoot a landscape in the portrait orientation, Michele. I think it really works here, allow you to show both the one piece of blue sky poking through as well as the shoreline. I think that's also what makes the clouds so dominant in the photo, which, as others have pointed out, is what make this image as effective as it is.

Nice composition, Michele, with the choice of making the strong clouds the dominant factor in the photo over the weaker waves.
