Profound revelation, Paul! Photoshop images look more like the original than when posted here. I must remember that! Again, thanks for the retouch on the shadow areas, as in fact, it is so close to the original, it's astounding. I had to view it through PS btw to see the huge difference. There it seemed too light, and here it looks "correct".

Oh, Paul! The boosted shadows you have done here, interestingly enough are more or less exactly as in the print! Go figure :)

I always appreciate your comments, Paul. Thank you! I wonder if it is the difference in our monitors that makes the shadows appear darker to you??? I actually have 2 monitors and the image looks different on both, even though they are the same... settings, the same etc.... and still there is a difference! That is one prob I find with images viwed on computer monitors, rather than the authentic non cyber view.

Nice framing, and great exposure of the water (which is not easy to do).
I like the rich shadows, but think the shot would be more tonally balanced if you lightened the shadows just a tad, Ani.

I live in the mountains, Dave. Many similar places 'round these parts. And it is not "my" light. I just waited for the sun to obscure the clouds... lol!

Excellent water motion. I am so envious of people who can find waterfalls. The only time I get a chance is during flash flooding. And that's no fun at all.
