Postnote: if you are trying to portray the plight of the homeless, I tbink the smoking shots are the wrong approach. I think catching them with elements of their environment is the most important.

Good shot, excellent details. I find the centered composition weakens it a bit. Background is good for the shot. Love the expression and motion here--I think you should submit/sell these to the American Cancer Society. Maybe they will help offset the images of the young models smoking. I just started subscribing to Newsweek and was disturbed to see the tobacco companies still doing that.

This project is a lot more difficult that it appears. It's delicate. I have always been intriguied with what our society throws aways or discards. The mentally ill seem to be the first on the list. It's sad.
