Funny you should ask that, but yes.. just started with these shots.. though not as yet used to all this manual photography... did quite a bit of experimenting at the weekend but not to much good I'm afraid.. anyway.. will get there eventually!

what i really like about this, that inside wall of the vortex, a bit closer would look like looking down on to a tornado, bit like a satellite weather shot, nice one ,. may i ask sue, do you ever try differant speeds & apertures for these vortex shots,. muchmuch art,.

It is an amazing shot regardless of where it is anyway. A place I would surely like to see. Thank You for keeping me less confused than I seem to easily get ! I hope you know I meant no harm with my dumb question..

Beautifully shot and named. I feel a bit confused because I have never heard of the state NORTHUMBERLAND, US.... or ' the vortex -pool' ... altho there are many things I have not heard of... I would like to learn more.
