Thank you Michele.. I am honoured you have added me as a friend & do not mind at all. Seems we are the same, I tend to shoot first & learn later myself... though must say I like it that way. People often tell me you are not meant to do things one way or the other... I simply say 'why not' & do my own thing! Maybe a faux pas or two later will get me to conform, but I doubt it! lol. If we did all follow the rules & do the same thing I think things around here would be rather dull.

Learn as we go.. is that not what life is about anyway?

Keep well & bright
& thank you once again for you thoughtfull comments x

Thank you Shirley... I couldn't make my mind up about that flare... tried several things.. cropping, cloning over it... was always drawn back to the image with it in though... guess I like the added colour & sense of warmth created with it... quite hard to tell from the rest of that photo what a glorious sunny & warm day we had for our visit.

Again thank you... all your comments & suggestions are greatly appreciated x

This is lovely, Sue! I might crop the flare at the very bottom.

I hope You don't mind I added You as a friend. I like a person with thier own strong views on life. I respect them. It shouldn't matter if you were a bussiness... It would be my own short-comings in the art of learning since I get so excited about taking pictures I don't take enough time to spend learning...except for here ....
Ahhhhh and BTW I can't believe no one has commented on this shot before. To me it is beautiful . I am a lover of the older , historic buildings , altho I like to be progressive I am attracted to history. This is my kind of shot, both educational in history, and in photography.
Very well done my friend.
Michele~
