Hi Sian, I got this action from a website called ezactions.com You can buy single actions or a whole packet. It's only $6 for each one. And with a single click it's applied. I always bump up the contrast a tad with the colorwash, but I'm really liking it. Susie

It's a hard call, Susie. First of all, it's a terrific photo. Great expressions on the kids faces. I really want to know what they were looking at. After going back and forth a few times between the two versions, I've chosen the sepia. Actually, I like much about the color wash. I think coloration is an advantage for this photo. The problem I have with it is that the kids on the right have a bluish cast to their faces that makes their skin look a little sickly. Notwithstanding, I love the shot. If this photo doesn't hang on your older brother's wall at home, he ought to be shot. Steve

this is really cute and the composition with the angle is really nice. The girl on the left looks so cute with that engaging smile, and the kid in the middle is funny :) what is a colourwash, Susie? Is it like a desaturation process? I really like it.

Too cute. Love the crop and the soft tones. Is this the ezaction color wash? I just love his work. Everything is so amazing and with your wonderful pics it just looks even more amazing. They all look so happy and involved in the task at hand.

It is hard to decide between the two, but I think I like the look of the color wash one. The color wash gives the image a more ole time look.
They are both great!

I was trying to look at the similarity in their faces, i see it in their eyes. wonderful capture of happy faces, looks like they're enjoying, of course. grandma Susie is taking their picture.. : ) I like both the sepia and the colorwash, they have different moods but for the kids, i think they will like this color effect. nice shot Susie!

What a kindly moment, three cutie kids. Marvelous portrait shot, well captured and seen! Very happy feeling and expressive photo. Very well done! Both are great capture however I prefer this desaturated version. Perhaps because full of emotions, the sepia toned version too serious for these happy kids! Well taken dear Susie!
Have a nice week end my friend! Robert

Hi Susie, I really like the colour wash treatment on this one! It kind of gives it that old time snapshot look... except that the image is way too perfect for the old time snapshot look. Regardless, I'm certainly not going to shoot an image down for being too good :) It's a very exciting triple portrait and I'll bet you will be getting a lot of requests for copies from the parents. :) Well done! Andre

hi there, usually i would prefer the sepia, but this one has more vibrance...looks like it is hand-tinted,Susie...good timing for their expressions...am only slightly bothered by the cut off arm on left as viewed and don't see another way to crop without cropping more of her arm....naturally photogenic kids Happy Mom's day! regards, gayle
