About Every so often they change the slot machines in the Pachinko Parlor. The common belief is that it takes time to "tune" the slot machines so that they don't give out too many jackpots, so if you play a new machine your odds of success go up. The advent of the new machines is celebrated by bunches of artificial flowers like this! (Artificial because in another six months or a year they will ring the changes again, so they keep the flowers and trot them out again and again.)

Artificial, pachinko bait they may be, they are delightful. My secretary would love them. Sometimes when I view your images I feel as though I am living in a parrallel universe!
Thanks for sharing again. JB

Roger, without your very illuminating about, I wouldn't have known the story of the Pachinko flowers. They look much more like wreaths to me than bunches of flowers, but they do look festive-like.Next time look for a combination of flowers and kanji, it might be interesting!
Thanks for your latest visit, I do appreciate all your comments!
