I disagree with the comment about being too dark, by making the whole thing lighter would remove the dramatic impact of the pink light.

The patterns in this photo are very interesting, but I find the photo too dark. I have a feeling that "you had to be there" to appreciate the lighing effect. However, just increasing the brightness of the photo as taken, using photoshop (or other photo editing software) would improve it a lot.
