Thanks Brian for the comment.Stacking 3 filters up does produce alot of noise and under exposure.But I was after the motion of the clouds in the 40 mph wind.I tried to up the exposure but when I did the grain was a little too harsh. Thanks again..........rick

rick i love the scene but thats is a lot of exposure time for such a dark IR shot.was it almost dark as well?.i look at the shot Wind Motion and i suspect that too much filtering going on here also ,however is it the grainy look your looking.

Thank you for the suggestion Terry.I used the infrared filter as an ND filter so the shutter speed would slow down. It caused some grain (noise) in the image even with the noise reduction turned on......rick

think you should of withheld on the infrared filter as i suspect it might of been lovely without
but none the less great :-)
