Kathy this is a very beautiful capture, most I like is the stem branches from the left erecting towards the Mountain that’s very touchy for me between that and the far line trees slight to the right.

this is very beautiful and perfect by all means, I have seen many landscape images on UF recently ,very much manuplated in photo shop showing destractive contrast ,expouser sharpness and colors with many comments on them . I feel this is real "Real" and very "Original Work" which i did enjoy alot viewing. all of the best my friend .

Hi Kathy!
I feel like I haven't been on UF for weeks! It's been raining so much that I haven't been out to shoot anything lately. I finally got out to Lake Padden yesterday though.
Wow! This is quite lovely Kathy! I love the moody clouds with the little patch of blue sky over the mountain. I also like how the trees kind of frame the mountain.
I read somewhere that Mt. Baker is one of the most photographed mountains in the world! It is beautiful, that's for sure.

Utterly breathtaking. Clear and crisp all the way to the peak. The clouds are casting just the right amount of shadow to give the trees a nice layered feel. A perfect postcard composition. Way to go Kathy!

Wonderful shot, Kathy! That mountain looks as if painted. Even the greenery arround seem to be attracted and pointing to it. The play of the clouds around the peak give the necessary amount of drama. It wouldn't have been the same on a blue sky! Well done!

Beautiful image Kathy. It's like a painting. The clouds around there are super and really add to the majestic mountain mood. Gorgeous colours and wonderful details throughout. Your DOF is excellent to get such clarity right through the entire image. A very well composed scene and really pretty to view. Lovely!

Wow, it looks like a painting, Kathy! It must be so nice to be able to go there often! I love the foreground branches leading the eye towards the mountain, and the great sky, as well as colors of the rock and the shapes of the pines. Also, that pine in the center has beautiful movement. You have found the best view to take this picture, everything is falling into place in the right colors, shapes and proportions. Very majestic!
