You can see the duck's feet underneath the clear water which is cool in itself. All the colours are rich. Great detail seen through out all the ducks feathers.

What a cute face this duck has. He really seems to be smiling. I guess he knows that you have a "good" lens pointed at him or he just is enjoying his little swim. Great detail and colors. I like looking at his little feet.

Nice mallard! I like the dark reflections broken up by the ripples in the water.
30 days of rain...quack! Weird...we've had less snow in our area of Colorado this winter than in the last 30 years. Wish we could work out a trade!

This is a very beautiful photo, dear Susie! All the details are there, so minutely rendered: the feathers (what colours!) to their very tips, the under wing fluffy and grey down, the paddling feet in the water. A perfect duck!The reflection is magnificent!Only that the Washigtonian duck looks very happy in the rain! I wonder if the rest of the Washingtonians feel as.....ducky?!
