About A classic Ambleside view - if youlook over windermere from the start of the town, you can see (on a clear day) all the way to the Langdale pikes. They are very distinctive - probably the most recogniseable in the lakes. you can see pavey arc to the right and Harrison Stickle to the left.

Oh - and 2 random boats in the foreground of course!

I'm at the other side of Pendle Hill at Nelson, as you will know Pendle dominates the town and is the first and last thing I see each day.

I had a look through your work, there's some stunning stuff in there!

As you said....It's a small world.

Thanks Meg

Whereabouts in Pendle are you from?

I'm from Pendleton! probably the other side of the hill to you - but small world!!

I'll have to post a shot of the village next then :-)

Keep the red rose flying :-0

Just want to say how much I am enjoying looking through your work.
As a Lancashire Lass living and working in Pendle I know most of the places in your portfolio. If I were to pick a favorite image I would find it impossible, all of your work is excellent in both quality and content, fabulous throughout!

LOADS and LOADS

paid for the darn thing so Im getting the most out of it!

I think the boats are too low in the frame to be honest, but with 80-200 on I couldnt get it any wider...

stil - I#m pleased with the Langdales. they came out well./

cracking place - have you get you guys over there at some point

I would like to add my praise to the already substantial bank of positive comments. Such a beautiful scene and you captured it wonderfully. Into the favorite box it goes.

What a beautiful, picturesque shot Ade! This has a wonderful painterly feel to it! I love the layers of mountains and that is a great sky! Very well composed!

Beautiful Ade. Another painting like image. I hope you're not going to bill us for the tour. :) Such lovely details and clarity with no grain. Very moody image. Wonderful.

Cheers - Ann :)

Ade -- Nice feeling of depth in this one. The darker sky really works well in the image. Good choice.
