Luis … I've been in a strange 'space' lately and I regret neglecting to respond to your queries and concerns about my whereabouts. My time here at Usefilm has regretfully come to an end. But that’s already in the past!
About the future: back in march of 2005 you mention going to Figueira in two years… does that mean this summer, 2006, or next year? I’ll be going back in the summer myself, probably in early June. This time I’ll be staying for about 8 weeks. The wife will join me eventually. I do need this country, my country, more than ever. It seems in my imagination I live there most of the time. Very strange considering I left in 1969, at the tender age of 19… Anyway, Sr Pereira… ;-)… It would be such an enormous pleasure to meet you there! In Figueira, in Lisbon… wherever…
You and I are kindred souls my friend.
ps. your latest uploads speak to me of man who will eventually pick up the tools a painter; maybe gouaches or watercolors?…
