Doors, Windows and Poles (6)

(In English) The theme of this portfolio is the effect of a theoretically intrusive element in the visual of the old colourful houses in the city of Santana do Parnaiba, in Sao Paulo state, Brazil. These intrusive elements are the electricity poles, used for lightning, to carry energy and for sinalization, which besides aparently constituents of poor, not aesthetic, ugly and rough elements in a first sight, can become components of an extremely rich visual, combining horizontal and vertical lines, creating diverse and colourful geometric formats, in a kind of a playgame between the ugly and the beautiful and the intrusive, generating interesting and even pleasurable images. Thats more or less what it is.
