About A hundred yards up the road from the spot where I took the "My Town" picture is this cluster of restaurants. It caters for the lunch crowd, and tries to make money from those who like a drink or two (or four) before going home in the evening. Blandishments include photographs of the inside, plastic models of the food (in the glass case you can see on the left) and detailed menus with prices. They are not apparently colour coordinated!

That double-perspective was what made me take the shot, Tim, that and the fact that the waitress was cleaning out the basement area, giving it a bit of life.

WOW this is so different from where i am right now...we go for days not seeing anyone ...just more bush. I can't imagine livivng in a area that has so much going on all the time i think it would drive me nuts!
The perspective you are using here is very effective. I like how i can see down the street as well as into the basement entrance

Excellent wide angle view, perfectly corrected for perspective. Lots of bright non eyepleasing color charades they have in Japan. Very good photography work. Cheers.
